Dear Jesus

Dear Jesus,
First of all, I would like to let you know that you completely take my breath away. I woke up this morning, and took my dog out. When I reached to front door, it was raining. You know how much I love the rain, and you know all of the things that make me feel special. Sometimes I sit and ponder how someone so great and mighty would love a little insignificant person such as me. I love you with all of me heart.

Did you know that you have captured my heart? Daily, I long to be in your presence. To be with you, is my hearts cry day and night. There will be a day when I get the chance to see you! On that day, I would like to see my brother. He was so little when you allowed him to live with you, and I wonder what he is like. To be honest, I have daydreamed about him many times, but you already know that. As I look outside I see the sun coming up, and am reminded that today is another chance for me to shine for you.

Thank you for all of the friends that I have, and am continuing to get to know. They are yours, so thank you for sharing them with me. Your plan in their lives is evident, and I trust you completely with their souls. How can I not? All I have to do is look at the intricate design of my hands, and I know that you are one to be trusted.

Please help me to treat you with utmost respect. Help me to remember that though you are my best friend, you are not one to be taken lightly. I respect your power and might. You, alone, deserve all of my praise. Thank you for sharing your light with me. I would be pleased to go through life with even a touch of your garment, but you have given me so much more. You have allowed me to hold your hand.
